The easy way to create powerful booking forms for WordPress websites.
In some cases is needed to remove or ignore old bookings from the availability verification. The most common reasons are performance issues (slow loading) due to a large number of past bookings and the need to comply with policies about old data (like the GDPR requirements). The add-on "Remove or Ignore Old Bookings" can be used for this purpose.
The add-on "Remove or Ignore Old Bookings" is included in the commercial version of the plugin. You can activate it as shown in the following image:
With the add-on enabled, go to the step 6 (add-ons) of the booking form settings to enable and setup it for the needed form(s). Note that this setup is made separately for each form, you can have different forms with different removal/ignore settings:
To enable the add-on for a form, set the field "Enable deletion or ignore for this calendar?" to "Yes" and the whole set of settings will appear.
The settings field "# of days to consider a booking as old:" is referred to past days after the booked time.
Into the settings field "Delete or ignore old bookings" be sure to select the correct option:
- Ignored items will be ignored from the booking form and schedule calendar.
- Deleted items will be completely deleted from all the lists. Warning: Deleted bookings cannot be recovered once deleted.
